Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to the play school and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a small girl in commercials. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in December. Following her conversion to Judaism and they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to fans of the series during the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the series. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
