Elizabeth Reaser is an American television, film and stage actor, best known for her performances in movies such as The Twilight Saga and series like Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth was born and raised on the Michigan coast of the US. When she was a child she was enthralled by the idea that she could be an actress. Her producers received a recording of her performing in MMA and also a short clip of her performing. She sent them a video on the next day that showed herself sword fighting. After having read the script Jessica realized that her role required weapons instruction and she recorded her first lesson with an experienced instructor. Jonathan Glassner said that the stunt crew were amazed at the way Jessica performed in her first lesson. The actress had never taken on any major roles before the US, as all of her filmography was shot in Australia. Jessica's skills in mixed martial arts, weapons and horse riding and her capability to do stunts, provide her to be an impressive female persona. In Australia she learned to muay Thai and boxing. When shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen encountered a dog who was wandering around the scene. One of the pups was residing on one of the set. Jessica was the foster mom to two pups.
